The Union

This cross was designed to balance Hot Tropic’s strong solventless wash potential with Frosted Lemonade’s citrus-heavy, old school terpene profile reminiscent of Green Crack. The goal was to capture Hot Tropic’s resin-rich output and structural strength while layering in Frosted Lemonade’s sharper citrus edge and unique flavor arc. The result is a cultivar that brings together bag appeal, resin, and distinct terpene diversity, with the mother carrying the washing potential and the father contributing aromatic complexity.

The Mother

Hot Tropic (Oni Seed Co.) in this selection is OG dominant with subtle creamy undertones and flowers quickly in just 42–49 days. She stretches explosively in early flower, with more spaced-out nodes that develop into very large, dense bud sites. Her sturdy frame supports the weight of heavy colas, and her resin production gives her excellent wash potential. In both solventless and dried flower form, she delivers standout gas and flavor.

The Father

Frosted Lemonade (Green Fire Genetics) was selected for his bright, resin-forward lemon zest profile, reminiscent of Green Crack. He typically finishes in 60–65 days with lighter structure and weaker wash traits, but his citrus terpene contribution is unique and powerful. Though not a washer himself, his role in this cross is to sharpen flavor and bring aromatic depth to the Hot Tropic’s already strong solventless foundation
